    LOL!!!! Yes I believe you are right as the walleye is of one species and only one member of a much larger family of the perch species/family! I definitely had that turned around! The Zander is also a member but would be most like a walleye on steroids! But that is another story.

    Additional information on the White Perch in the Great lakes.

    White Bass and White Perch are also known to hybrid.
