5-11 harbor Light

Fished 7am to 10am in 8ft to 13ft of water. Tried Jigs and threw blade baits caught junk but NO walleye. Lots of boats. No wind so we used trolling motor to cover water. What a difference a day makes. Read report from 5-10 so changed plans from going to Fenwicks trolling to harbor light jigging. Big mistake. So we loaded boat on trailer drove down to Fenwicks. Started trolling 17ft water heading straight towards West Sister. DHJ Glass caught 2 at 50 back. DhJ Purpledesent at 50 back caught 1. DHJ clown caught 1 at 75 back. More fish seemed to be in 21-23 ft water. Only fished 3 hrs had to quit. Good Fishing.

Did you try over by the radar bouy ? Seems it was hotter over there yesterday.

No, fished in a line from turtle to harbor lite and then a little west of that line.
I did not see one walleye caught in three hours of fishing with maybe 80 boats in area. The walleye may have been in the area but had lock jaw. Dead calm couldn't have helped. limits the morning before and then nothing. Hard to figure.

yesterday in the area you were talking about . didnt cast but jigged straight up and down with blade baits . Fished 630 to about 920 . had several rude boaters crowd us out to only have them watch us catch them and them nothing . Karma at its best .
