One happy camper

Finally after a very long winter,were goin to the lake Thursday morning.Goin to be up there for a ten day stay.Were camped and docked across the rd from the Moose,and take the river out to the lake.I am lookin forward to getting away from it ALL!Just enjoying what being there offers!We will be trolling cranks and maybe harnesses if need be.We would be gr8ful for any info anyone might care to share.I will be posting info of the good,the bad and ugly(LOL) of our trips,when we do get out.Thanx and good luck to ALL!Last of all,we would like to express our condolences to the families and friends of the lost fishermen and women.Also a big thanx to all of those involved in the search and rescue efforts

Fishin. what area do you stay? My family and friends are from Minnesota and as I live in indiana much closer to Erie I've wanted to book a week long trip and get a group to come out. didn't know if staying in a hotel in port clinton for a week is best option.

Bernieck, I have two trips booked with Mark1 Charters and I'm staying at his 3 BR Condos in Marblehead., Rt2 and 269. Very close to Mazuricks? And much less than a hotel for several people. Call 419-266-2540

Call Jim Fernandez at 419-707-3915. He is the owner of the Walleye Lodge. He is very well known with all of the Captains at the Fishemens Wharf. He has a 2 bedroom lodge with all of the comforts of home. The lodge can sleep 6-8 people and Jim is very hospitable and very affordable. He rents by the day, week or month. Good Luck! Mark
