    Default Sunday late start

Went out of Fenwick Sunday around 10am for a first splash shake down. Headed out to Cone and got 3 on the first drift and lost one of my drift socks. Went back to the front and flew across the top again doing a little under 2mph. Call it a day with the 3/4's, to rough for us to try and troll that area and no one wanted to pound it out over to the islands. JD green took all fish. I have heard good reports on Amish bags, anyone confirm that?

    Thanks

I run 2 of the 60" Amish Outfitters Beefy Bags. They are outstanding and will replace them with the same IF I ever wear them out. I run on 1 bag, 1 engine most of the time. If it's choppy and wind is blowing and I need more thrust over the rudders to control heading, I run 2 bags, 2 engines. I can slow down from 4.9mph (600RPM both engines) to 1.1mph if needed with ease. 1.8MPH both engines is around 750RPM with both bags out.

I have a 248 Wellcraft, what size would you suggest? I still have one Cabelas sock that is 38" so I was thinking about going larger so I would have more options.

    Thanks for your input!!

The old Bait Barn on Rt. 2 has some really nice bags made out of heavy material and look to be every bit as good as Amish Outfitters beefy bags. Stop in and talk to Dreamcatcher AKA: Dave Miller he will treat you right. Here is his number you could call 912-433-6000.

    I'll fifth that!
I too lost a bag on Saturday...so on Sunday, Dave opened the shop up for me early so I could pick one up and get out on time.
