Default Water Dogs ~ Walleye Report

got 4 milking males just east of toussaint reef in 17 fow using a john deer 1 oz jig with a minnow and stinger hook, nice eaters biggest was 22 smallest was 18 inches.
Be careful how you hold those males, when they get going they are squirter's.
I lost three at the boat~!
I was done in 2 hours ~ light winds ~ very nice day on the lake.
plenty of boats in the area and three head boats that I could see.

Default Too Windy ~ Sunday 4-13-14

went to Toussaint reef today, and it was very windy.
even with the sea anchor I was pushing 1 - 1.2 mph
did manage one walleye, even with the wind and waves.
had a late start, did not leave the docks until 9am
did see plenty of boats in the area, but not too many "nets in the water"
I will be back at it later this week ~ "Fish On"

    Manny may fly's.
Marked plenty of fish just N W of Green Island and they were anywhere from 12 to 29 feet down and in the center of those may fly balls.
Managed to hook up with 4 walleye.
lost one at the boat, 2 were too small and the one we iced was 18 inches.
Did not catch any other fish.
    ~fished from 9 to 1pm.~

What were you using over there WD? You should have tore them up in that area. Speed, depth, something had to be off. Been a steady bite for a month and was still going strong for us yesterday. Just tryin to help you out ole buddy.
