Ice and fishing report Reno beach/Anchor point

Friend and I went out this morning and did well
Entered the lake through private property with no issues.
Went out approx. 4 miles from shore,half way between West Sister and Water intake. maybe a little closer to West Sister
2 man limit in approx. 2 hrs
Wind was brutal today, being out of the N.E. there was no issues with cracks.
Ice was a solid 17"

on a side note if your planning on entering the lake through the channel,Wards cannel has open water

As long as the winds hold out of the north/north east ,I feel the ice will hold in the western basin for a few more days

Smoke'em today! 3.1 miles out of Long Beach between the second and third Christmas three. Two man limit 2.5 hours

Troy , still haven't decided what I'm going to do, might just go month to month
and move around a little this year until I find something I like.

I took the boat in a couple weeks ago to get detailed. Couple small chips in gel coat repaired,new boot stripe and decals, two stage buff and wax,( the works)
first impressions is everything you know, got to look good when she rolls up to a new marina. might not know what I'm doing,but I'm going to be looking good

I can't wait to get her back, load all the gear and have a few beers in her

i hear you don. I just pulled the batteries so I can replace them. I may go in for a month at fenwick then head east for the rest of the year. THe way things are going though I may not get the boat in till june if it doesn't warm up so we can farm. who knows... looking forward to seeing you on the water.
