I bought a strikemaster lazer pro 3hp. Only 26 lbs. Cuts like hot knife thru butter. Little bit of a gas hog but that's the price for horsepower. Yes you have to mix gas but no need to vent the gas cap anymore. That's a bonus and a big reason why I bought this auger.

    Default Propane

Picked up a nice jiffy 8 inch propane out of the bargain cave this winter at Cabelas and could not be happier starts by the second pull every time. Weight is not an issue as it gets loaded on the quad and away we go.....

There used to be a small shop on the north side of King Rd. approx. 1 mile west of dixie hwy. ( St.Rt. 25) before you get to Hull Prairie that sharpens just about everything, I think the name is Driers but not sure, its an older farm house with the shop in the milk house part of the big barn, been a few years since I've been there.
