    Default Why not, boats do?

I am not a legal expert by any means, but I think it should be allowed, I mean out of state boats can freely access the lake. That with the addition that the ATV is not licensed/tagged (but that is the state of Ohio). I would think it would be fine, assuming that they stay in the US part of the lake, just like the boats if they cross over to the Canadian side. Just be careful no matter where you go and what kind of vehicle is used on the hard water.

As long as it is registered in any state and has insurance yOu should be fine. That's how it is in Michigan. Make sure you have a copy,of the reg and ins with you at all times when your on your machine

Not so sure about insurance. Once it's on the ice it is not insured for sure. You should have a ORV sticker on it from your home state.

Is an ORV sticker required? I don't think in years past, that mY dad or his friends had them on their quads.

They must be licensed with plate from Ohio or sticker from other state. They will fine you if not.

will still need a OVR sticker for an ATV if it is used in Michigan .

I live in Ohio but both my sleds are registered in Mi.. Ohio DMV sucks in Michigan it takes 5 mins and replacements if you lose them is a breeze... So state don't really matter just as long as it has 1. And jig your correct about the ins, however for 70 a year for both sleds is cheap inches something would happen
