I run a 2000 20 foot deep v fisher its a good boat and I thought I could use it back home also . Its great back home but on Erie u have to pick and choose ur days. Any thing over 3 footers is hard to fish I wish I would of just got a all Erie boat 23 footer. That's just my experience maybe u don't want to fish Erie as much as I do

starcraft
I owned a 22 ft. center consol starcraft, buddy owned 18 ft starcraft, 22 ft rode waves well, 18 footer hit every wave, I had 22 ft. in everything our 30 footer does, and alumin boat you do
take a beating, glass boat much smoother ride. Great fuel mileage, eighteen your biggest waves are 4 ft. or less.Last edited by wayne johnson; 09-13-2013 at 06:02 PM.
