Worked on the boat
Figured on spring of 2014 replacing the Bennett HPU (pump) on the trim tabs that came with my boat (never worked since I owned them). A replacement (with core) is $220 from Bennett. BUT, to my surprise a working used one popped up in Sandusky on Craigslist. And it had the cylinders, tabs and controls, wiring harness to boot!. Really only needed the HPU, but extra parts are always great.
Ran up there yesterday and picked up the whole package for $80. Double ! Put it in today and it works like a dream.
Also put in a new wiring harness for the GPS unit, since it developed a short last time out. God Bless EBAY for that one
Last week, I put a stereo system in the boat since it didn't have one.
I think that I enjoy tinkering with the boat as much as I do fishing in it.21ft Red Mirrocraft Open Bow w/ gray Evinrude 120 OB. Nicknamed "Sunny Daze".
Channel 79, hit me up. Can be caught perch'n or drift'n around the islands when I make it out.
