    Default Perch 8/30 Dumping grounds

Headed out of Mazurik and set up camp east of the dumping grounds around 9:30a fished til around 1:30pm. It got HOT with very little wind.

Results: 42 yellow perch for two guys. Most were in the 8"-10" range. Spreader/no-bling on the bottom, slow real til we felt tension and then set. The standard "bottom-up" didn't work as we were cleaned before being able to get a hookset. BONUS WALLEYE! Caught a 22 1/2 inch walleye on my perch rig. What a fight! Glad I had braid on it. Nice big filets from him

We were about a 1/2 mile east of the pack with no one else really around us.
21ft Red Mirrocraft Open Bow w/ gray Evinrude 120 OB. Nicknamed "Sunny Daze".

Channel 79, hit me up. Can be caught perch'n or drift'n around the islands when I make it out.

They are north of Marblehead. Never been there in my own boat, so I do not have coordinates. Then again, you don't need them. When you see a hord of boats north of Marblehead, you have arrived. Check sonar for a school, drop anchor, and drop your shinner (s) to the bottom and slowly reel up.
