Labor Day BLE Exclusion Zone

The big Battle of Lake Erie reenactment is Monday, Labor Day. If you are going to be fishing or boating in the Western Basin on Labor Day, please read the post in the Western Basin Discussion. I thought is necessary to make a post here to make sure as many fisherman read the post and know about this as possible.

There is a lot of misinformation out there and you need to know what is going on so you can avoid any problems.

This all means if you are planning to go fishing on Monday, Labor Day, from about 11:00am to 6:00pm in the area from South Bass Island to Green Island to West Sister Island back to North Bass Island area this event could effect you and you will need to stay out of the way.

Saw a couple of the ships sailing between Put in Bay and Middle Bass yesterday, pretty awesome to see.

saw 8 of the tall ships while out fishing by northwest reef and on the trip in was really cool to see them coming, not so cool the try to get through what seemed like 3000 on lookers while heading home at noon
