    Default Marblehead area Perch

I am heading up from central Illinois to perch fish for the weekend. Will be staying in Marblehead. Any suggestions on a starting spot will be much appreciated.

Default H can G can ~ Yellow Perch

You will not have to go far.
Bring about 3 dozen minnows per person ~ the White Perch are out in force.
Head west and look for the pack of boats.
I have been doing good at H can and have heard that it is good around Kellys Island.

If your staying in marblehead I'd go to dumping grounds north of cedar point. Perch has been good and great size. Look for the boats

Ditto the dumping grounds. Started around Kelley's and it was really slow and tons of trash. Moved out east and got two limits of 18#.

Thanks for the input. We fished north east of the dumping grounds and did well. Had a late start but the perch were biting a nod we didn't catch much trash. Thanks for all the replies.
