Toledo Water Intake - Sunday

Took my daughter and her fiance out fishing. Starter out 2 miles northeast of intake. Kept 7 walleye in 2 hours casting home made gold weapons. Also caught a few small ones. Changed over for perch in the same area. Took some time drving around to find a school that looked fishable. Kept 46 good size perch - all over 7.5 inches. A few white perch and white bass. No sheephead. Nice day on the lake. Daughter's fiance caught his first walleye and a couple of perch. A lot of boats in the area fishing for both walleye and perch.

I fished the same area on saturday. We trolled cranks in 18-21 fow and pulled 36 eyes. We only caught one junk fish all day (white perch). It was a steady pick in the morning but they were on fire when we finished up around 1:00.

Good weekend nw of intake got 2man limit sunday..made it out late after 2pm ..tried. by turtle island..nothing,north of toledo light 3 perch in 30 minutes not good enough..got to intake area dropped line in fish on before it hit bottom..now it was game on..kinda cool to show a beginner how fast and furious it can get

Hey EyeSpy just curious what kind of cranks you were pulling and what leads were the best for you. I might try pulling some reefrunners after perching this weekend. There's a lot of walleye in that area right now. We've caught at least one while perching our last 3 trips.
