Better late than never
Report from 7/25....26....27
Finding time to report is some times tuff, but here goes.
Left dock @ 4:30pm 7/25, went north of gull, on the line, OHIO waters, took 30 eyes in two hrs, 40 TRU-TRIPS 75ft back with double willows @ 2kts. Went to same spot 7/26, it was very slow. kept trolling east another mile and it was lights out, finished with 30 eyes @ 10;00. Went back in and had a nice lunch @ Cletes, decided to get shinners, went to second green can @ Kellys Shoal, took 150 perch 8" to 11", back on deck @ 4:30 for cocktails.WHAT A DAY !!!
My crew on 7/27 had a bad case of bottle flu before we left the dock and mother nature did not help matters any. Went to balist to escape some wind and it was white perch as fast as you could go, moved north of north bass, took 68 big perch, biggest 13 5/8", not bad considering I only had two able bodies. We quit @ 11:30, to many Chumlys
