Is it about time for walleyes to appear A-can west toward crane creek and the intake? When does this happen? If I remember correctly it should happen before long.

don't know for sure but have heard from some fisherman on Thurs that they were there. My question is why do the walleye come in so close this time of year ??

Don't pretend to know this one, but what I have heard is they come in for minnows. (Seems obvious they do follow food) That begs question, why are minnows there. I assume the minnows are moving out of the creeks as this years hatch of young grows in size, and the creeks are probably warming up and drying up too. Makes sense, but have never heard that confirmed by a biologist who would know, so put it in the urban rumor category, and I could be all wet on this one!
