Default Why & How True Trips

It's simple. First the True Trip. String your mono threw True trip. Tie a barrel swivel to mono. Put a 4' lead of fluorocarbon to a barrel swivel and bait. The barrel swivivel stops the true trip from hitting fish. Yes! The fluorocarbon is a must. Just a leader, but a must. If you defy this rule? Failure will become you. Lol

How far back do you run the bait from the TT? I have used Jets but not TTs. With Jets you just hook a 4-6 foot leader on between it and the bait.

Use the same leader length for the TRU-TRIPS as you would for the jets. I make my leader about the same length as my rod. p/p
