6/18,6/19, 6/20, 6/23 Walleye

The 18th and 19th were bumpy out of the NE so we launched at Catawba State park.....we ran toward Green perhaps 5 miles and turned and trolled back. Instantly we were catching fish. Nothing big but plenty in that 17 inch range. The morn of the 19 it was rougher and more Easterly so we launched and started to troll just a half mile from the park. We caught fish immediatly and trolled toward D can. Didn't fill a limit either day but close on each to 3 man limits........The 20th my wife and I got a late start and ran NE of Kelly and set up near the line. We fished less than 3 hrs in mid day and came in with 9 very nice fish........Yesterday my son was out at it and got into fish near Rattlesnake.

It was nice to find fish close on days I didn't expect much. Didn't hit large feeding schools, but picked them along the way.
