on the rocks
Went out friday morn around 8 o'clock and fished north hump on toussaint and picked away at the walleye using weight fowards 3 shy of 2 man limit we were in by eleven. the older fella i was with cant fish long due to a bad back so i decided to try something i have never done before and went out at night. I went out to crib reef and anchored down about 40 feet off the reef and casted into it and picked up 2 throwing reef runner. though i got my 2 fish i really should have taking in consideration the mayfly hatch lol i and my boat was absolutly covered in mayflys lol. I have never night fished before and always wanted to try it i feel accomplished that a was able to catch some fish out their at considering ive never done it and didnt feel like i knew what i was doing maybe next time i will wait till the mayfly hatch is over. Does anyone know what some good lures to throw at night is?
