Had bad luck on walleye this year. Was thinking about starting to go for perch. When you say they will separate does that mean the bit will be off? I run out of the maumee river. We usually don't start perching till August. Do you guys get them any earlier? Any advice would be appreciated. Want to put some fish in the box.

    Smile western perch

If yor running out of the maumee, try the end of pier at bayshore edison, its shallow but can be good, little cedar point,
bouy 17 or west of the intake, to start. Wayne REEL SPORT CHARTERS, A can and just off west sister is good now.
