    Default Fishing 5-11

Hi, newcomer to the board. Drift Fished around Kelleys, Green, Rattlesnake, Bass islands, Niagara reef, Marblehead, and pretty much anywhere the fish finders was showing fish. Caught a few white bass, sheephead, and only one walleye. No luck what so ever on perch. The one walleye that was caught was a 29 1/2" female, using a 2 ounce bottom bouncers with a orange bladed worm harness just off of the lighthouse in 16 FOW. Was rough water most of the day. After the lake settled down fishing picked up a bit. Hoping the bite gets better soon for us all.

Fished Noon until 8:30PM when the storm rolled in. North of Kelley's pretty much the whole day. Trolled harnesses behind the big boards for 7 hours and only picked up 1 walleye. Moved in closer to the Northeast point of Kelley's and casted for fun for smallmouth. Picked up 5 smallies (yes all were released in good health) and then saw the storm approaching so we picked up our gear and raced the storm back in. Wish I had a better report but maybe I will this weekend.
