2nd weekend in may

Hey guys looks like we are going to try to do that trip i told you about to remember my dad the 2nd weekend in May. Do you think that this will be a good time to come up. Also what kind of program should i be running. I was hoping to be casting as i enjoy it much more than trolling. Like i said before my dad was always the one who new the game plan and now i am going to have guys depending on me to put fish in the boat.

You should be able to start jigging in close in the mornings and then as boat traffic starts you may have to move out deeper. They should be chasing some worms then you may want to try to have jigs and casting harness. I would hang a bouncer or two over the side while trying to jig since there will still be plenty of fish on or close to the bottom.
