just checked out the weather for this week and tomorrow tuesday they are callin for 35 degree with rain/snow/wind! winds out of the west south west at 25 mph with higher gusts, so any ice that is tryin to form will probly be taken care of, only problem now will be low water levels... next weeks weather is looking like mid 40's all week... i hate to say it and be wrong but might get to scratch the itch not this weekend but the following! which would be march 2nd so we will see what happens... cant always count on the weather man... only job i know you can be wrong most of the time and still be employed..

I hope that the weather does allow us boaters to get out on Erie in early March... but obviously time will tell... but don't forget that "politicians" can be dead wrong too (usually are), and they get to keep there job also...
