Got out Fri. Very slow start south of west sister where I had been getting them. Couple of short moves didn't help. Ran couple miles to west/southwest of Sister and did better with decent steady pick. Size was better than it has been. Had a real good spurt 11- 12:30 and then they shut down by 1:30. Ended at 3:00 with 76 fish for 3 guys. Did have two newbies with me, but they mostly held their own. Lots of 9-11's. Kept some smaller ones and gut hooks so we could get off in time to get them cleaned and send them home with fish. Could have limited if we had stayed all afternoon. Mixed radio chatter. Some good, many searching.

Channel out of Turtle had mostly 3 - 3.5 feet showing on my finder. Got down to 2.5 or so in narrows at entrance to Fenwick and Turtle Creek turns and again out at mouth of Lake well past gas docks. Much of a west wind and it will be real tough! Wonder who if anyone maintains that? Needs some dredging.
