Sandusky Bay?
Hi Fellas... Long time reader, first time poster.
I would like to know if any of you fish the Sandusky Bay this time of year? I definitely prefer going out around West Sister, but my father (who more often than not gets sea sick) would like to go out on my new to me boat. I would also like to get him on some fish.
He would do fine inside of the bay and probably just outside of the mouth of it, so I am wondering if anyones done any fishing in those areas lately and if so, how did you do?
I don't have a kicker for the boat yet (next year), so trolling is out of the question with the 120hp.
Perch is our best fish of interest, but we just love to fish.

The green can just north of cedar point will produce limits of decent perch year round..

Thanks for the info Skipper9. We will have to give that can a try if we can't get them going in the bay. At first I plan to try setting up just south of Johnson Island where it drops off to 10ft+. If anyone comes by, toot and wave, I'll be in the Dream Catcher (20ft maroon Mirrocraft) monitoring CH68.
