well weather was wrong today. reel sport was greeted with 4 ft.
plus waves this morning at our usuall spot 9 miles out, fishing was real slow mostly white perch and 5 inch perch had only seven in first hour, made a half mile move , waves lower and the bite was on, since today was a practice day for upcoming perch
tourament , we kept nothing less than 8.5 inchs to 12 inches
our largest, well in the next three hours we finished out our limit of 150 perch, total wiegh 42.5 lbs, plus threw back hundred
or more smaller perch of normal day keeper size, the only other boat close to us today was capt. joe of hook em steady who also limited out in no time flat. All perch today were caught on dead minnows, skipper nine rigs and spreaders, 1 ounce sinkers. reel sport team Capt. Mike 419 265 2736

We were about a half mile west of you. Fished from 9 - 12 and ended with 110. Crew had a afternoon party and had a late night last night as well. Sorted a lot of fish. Fish would come and go. We would catch 3 to 5 fish and then nothing. We had several over 10". An extremely light bite. Also caught 2 walleye. Caught fish on spreaders with no bling with the exception of a spreader with clear yellow beads. The yellow beads caught most of the bigger fish. Spreader had to be laying on the bottom and you had to lift it slowly and feel the resistance and set the hook.

Its the electrian local 8 perch tournament, must have one local
8 electrain on the boat to enter. sept 8.
