Friday perch

Caught 2 person limit today. Started out SW of Kelleys Is. Fishing was slow and mostly 7-7.5". Moved between Lakeside and Kelleys in 25 FOW. Bite was faster and fish were bigger, mostly 8-9". Fish were biting really lite. A lot of fish were biting as you lifted the minnows off the bottom. Oftentimes there was no nibble, just added weight on the line.

4 of us got limits today about 1/2 mile off the NE corner of Kelly's today,directly north of the house with the window covers, water was 40 ft deep. They would peck and just hold onto it until you started the slow lift. Some were pretty nice size too. Minnows were a little on the large side again, but at least shiners. Mike

Yes, that was the same type of action we had too. The minnows we had where huge. We had to cut them in half. Interestingly, the smaller fish seemed to prefer the tail and the larger ones seemed to like the head end.
