Vermillion Buoy
Heading up to the lake this weekend and with the kind weather report was debating on dropping the hammer out of East Harbor and steaming to Vermillion. Has anyone done any good around the weather buoy or any points in between the last few days? It’s been 3 weeks since I’ve been up so I’m a little out of touch. Thanks for any reply’s in advance!

Everybody and there brother was there last weekend. It was packed. But you can catch fish 5 miles before to 8 miles east. Try and stay from the border to 4 miles south of it. Stay out of the packs and you will have a slow pick maybe .75 fish per hour. Its not fast but you will catch a few fish.

Thanks for the heads up. At 0.75 fish per hour I might have a mutiny aboard the boat with my crew! Especially if they are reading that you’re busting the handles off a 150qt cooler, 48 walleyes deep. Haha I may head east or we might try our hand at fishing the Queens limit off the wagon wheel.
Thanks Skip
