Alge?
Has anyone seen the alge yet? I have not seen any yet. Hope we dont get the pea soup like last year.

Just a guess...but run off carrying nutrients cause the bloom.
Having a lack of rain will help with not catching algae.

Yep
Noticed it last Friday out by the Harbor light..Won't be long and it will be a mess out their...Nothing like seeing that nice shade of green in your wake..

Algae Forecast ecnouraging this year
The lack of spring rains have carried less than 10% nutrients into the lake this year as compared to last via Maumee River. That is actual measured and credible science data.
NOAA just released a new computerized algae forecast model that uses weather and runoff data to predict the severity of the coming summer's bloom. The forecast is that this summer the bloom will be the mildest (least severe) in the last 5 years. More info is available at:
