went out early around seven am during the windy part of the day and tried drifting for walleye but didnt even get a bite. wind calmed down so we tried for perch and got about 40 with one really decent one. figure its still too early for the bigger ones to be in western yet. still needing some other tips on how to pick up more steady walleye. havent been able to do it for two years since our first trip up.

i will try to call soon to ask questions or private message through here. My dad and i may be booking a charter sometime this year and bringing up some friends who we have tried to get into walleye fishing just to spread the joy and also to learn the tricks first hand.
