How deep and what bait are the smallies hitting on??

I checked with my friend and he said shallow 8-10 feet untill the sun came up then upwards of 20 feet. Hottest colors were green and/or chartruse tubes and jigs. His young son was using soft craws too and doing quite well. I saw a pic of his 15 yr old boy with a 21 3/4 incher. Looked like a football.

Watched a bass boat catch 3+ pounder at the docks in front of our condo at Green Cove near Wild wings last weekend.

We also rent our condo at Green Cove resort near wild wings. $99.00 per night which includes a 30 foot boat dock right in front of the condo. You can launch at Wild Wings and our within minutes to the condo and the reefs.
