Close but no cigar
Friday was windy but 3 of us bounced our way to "E" can and turned downwind toward "D" dragging DDRR 50-70' behind the Church Walleye side-planers at 1.8-2.0 mph. 6 keepers before hitting the 41/40 line.
Ran back up the hill thru 3-4 ft waves and repeated the process before turning toward Catawba. I always put a time limit on the day so we don't go crazy looking for that last fish. By 1:00 PM we had 16. We didn't limit out but I didn't see any sad faces aboard the Holly Lucas. P.S. I don't smoke so who needs a cigar anyway? I'll see you guys after the holiday weekend.
