So i should be comfortable with leaving a patch a the end rather than the entire fillet? are you going to leave a patch?

Thanks! Just run down the fillet like you normally would right til you get to that last 1/16" holding on then just pull back an inch and cut through the skin.

Thanks for the update. Has poaching become such a big problem that this is the only way to curb it?

Here is a link from Ohio Sea Grant! It states the same thing but is from a different source. Lundy form OGF has always posted factual material on the other site but some of you may still have some reservations about this!
