    Default Good day

Had another good day of fishing the bay area. We fished on the pear again today. Same program as yesterday. 13' feet of water, White head, and green hair jigs no bait. We were done by 9:30am. Still have some openings for the week end if anyone is interested. Call capt. Gary at (419) 367-5895, Thanks and good fishing.

someone has explained the pear on these forums before but I'd like a landmark to go by if possible. My only experience on lake erie is the jig bite by the reefs going out of wild wings marina area. where is this in relation to that? thanks for the info

    Default The pear

Going west from Cooley canal about 4 miles there is a point of land called Little Cedar Point. North East of this point is where the area known as the Pear, real easy to find if you zoom in on your chart plotter. Capt. Gary
