    fairly new to lake erie. what is HL? hear people saying they fish between turtle and HL. not sure where it is

    I am thinking it is in Maumee bay they are refering to Turtle Island and the Lighthouse...There is great Walleye spring jigging between them you can not miss the boats!

    I have been fishing the lake for over 50 years and have not seeen it written the way you listed it but the initals line up with what you are asking!

    thanks. ill be out saturday. any suggestions. used blue and purple last time(about 2 weeks ago) and did pretty good but im reading a lot about trolling now.

    I always use HL as a shortcut.. Where are you comming out of?? I fish their all the time and may be able to help you out..I'll be out on Sat (short for Saturday) LOL.. Let me know ..

    i think we put in at turtle creek last time (still trying to figure out names of places ive been. bare with me). gona try to be there around 6am. thats when the bait shop rite there opens isnt it
