Most of the reports along the lake are not calling for a freeze next to the water front, most of the freeze warnings are inland a short distance. I draw your attention to the last paragraph in the link provided. The time frame is about a 5 hr. period from 2 am to sunrise. That is barely enough time to freeze ice cubes in your refridgerater in ice cube trays under much lower temps and ideal freezing conditions. Am I concerned? Kinda, but not overly so.

With the warm water temp. I would not even give it a thought. It would be a different story if it was below 20 degrees longer than over night. If you are worried about it you can just put lead light down by the engine and that will keep the engine compartment and bilge plenty warm enough.

Leave your outdrive in the water you will be fine. If boat is on trailer put a trouble in it .
