The fevers on

Left out of wild wings 7:00 am this morning and headed out to turtle and locust. I got 2 and my daughter got 2 by 9:30. total 4 fish. Used purple haired and black 1/2 ounce jigs-no minnow. Waves and wind died down and the fish disappeared. Nothing the rest or the day. Came in at 1:00 pm. Half of our limit but we had fun. The fevers on.

Was a slow day jigging for us too. Didn't get out very early, left dock at 8:30 into stout N wind. The 1-3's predicted were every bit of three and a bit more. Picked up two nice ones but soon wind laid and that was it for three guys. Tried L can, locust, cone, over towards A, out front, probably 8 or so different moves. Lots of boats but didn't see many nets in water. Packed it in about 1:30 and by then was nearly flat. Everyone was searching. I am sure some got them, but not us.
