    Thumbs up 3-22-20012!!!!

3 guys 3 hours 60 fish. picked up the first ten on the first drift. never had a day like that ever. The boat that fished next to us said that they had boated over 100 eyes. Almost all the fish had other fish swimming with them when they came up. We fished 12-17 flow about 2 miles northeast of K can. It is not often that you get to pull your 12 fish limit in 30 mins.

Were you vertical jigging and what colors were hot? I'm heading up in the am, thanks for your help.

went out yesterday 4PM fished K can slow.... moved west 1 mile not in pack at 6PM and the bite was on !12 (limit for us)fish in 15 minutes using purple hair jig and we found not vertical jigging but letting 25 feet line out doing a slow angle jig worked best.. also NO MINNOW!!!!

we will be out again today at 4 weather permitting!

I see guys ripping the jig like 5 or 6 feet and I can't see how you can feel any bite fishing that way, but they seem to be catching fish. I need help on my technique I guess. I use a sensitive St Croix rod so I can feel the bite, I guess I just don't use the right retrieve or something. Jigging has always been frustrating for me. We only caught 6 today in 6 hours. I'll keep trying.

    Try a blade bait.
