Jig Report Sun. 3-18-12

Launched out of Fenwicks this morning around 7am. Had first 26" male in the cooler within 5 minutes of wetting the lines. Fished out front of fenwicks channel first and boated 8 solid fish. With a couple of moves around the reefs we had our 4 man limit by 2pm. Timed it just right before the afternoon storms rolled in. Overall a great day to fish. Pulled all fish on Purple hair jigs. Lost around 8 or so fish.

i was out there with ya.. was just gettin in the truck as soon as it started to rain..then pour..i'm in a 21 foot lund w/ a hard top..good job on the fish!

haha yeah we got out just in time, we were in the 18' red invader pulled by gray dodge, how did you do?

Right there with you guys but we moved out to Crane a little earlier than the rest. Funny how nets were popping everywhere and then stopped. Had to move around to get our last couple. A great day on the water! Wondered how the night bite went after the storm moved through?
