For the price, get some and see. It's not like you are dropping 6 bucks a pop like a reef, rap or dipsy.

Those jigs seem to be a pretty good deal...I am just getting started with jigging equipment and was wondering what you guys like for shape, size and colors...I have read a lot about the purple hair jigs you guys are using. I contacted Jeff and he only supplies the heads...I used to due well with chartruese when the old Erie Dearies were popular and I used to fish more. But that was a wife and 2 kids ago!

I use the standard Erie Jigs they sell at the tackle shops...Hooker, Fenwick, Wharf...Blk/Prpl, Blk/Blu, Black/Chrt, John Deere Green, Chart, Baby Blue...5/8 to 3/4 depending on waves.

I prefer the flat hair jigs, they cut thru the water better when jigging , just works better for my method.

Firetiger I like them when using hair jigs but the erie jig catches more fish for me.
