I just did a google search. This is a good thread about it..

That stuff looks GREAT! I like it! I wonder if it is unpleasant to stand on barefoot..

In that thread some guys say it costs $8-12/square foot. Adds up real fast. Looks great, but that is pricey!

Someone mentioned Kiwi-grip but I haven't searched that yet.

EDIT: Search Kiwigrip on google. Seems like the way to go... IMO. Looks like that is the route I'll go for the Lyman I'm restoring.

at the show i try it , good to walk bare foot, hooks won't get caught in it, can power wash it, won't stain, color to match your boat, yes it is costly 14.00 per sq. foot installed takes two days,
since we charter was looking for something so when floor is wet
persons plus tackle doesn't slip and slide, just looking for some input before we try it. Wayne Reel Sport Charters

    Wayne,

I had a 2 part epoxy floor cover applied to my Thompson. 1st part sealed the wood deck, then the 2nd part gave the deck a very nice/bright white finish with a fine grit, non skid surface.

Should be real easy on the feet, but I would hate to hit the deck with the knees in a spill. lol.

The Thompson had a very thin vinyl layer over wood floor. The problem my boat guy ran into was having to have the wood deck completely smooth and showing no lines before application.

Keep in mind if you apply any floor covering that the outside/ambient temp should be warm. Heated garage/shop this time of yr is a must for application.

Other thing you might want to realize is that dark or black soled shoes will leave marks ( grit on surface ) that might not be easily removed.

Been doing boat drinks with wife and friends over the winter and I've noticed a few marks appearing. Everyone now has to take shoes off before they climb inside...lol

    Best to you

    Ed

this product is a little different than and expoxy paint, it is made up of rubber, is soft to the feet, easy to clean, is cool on your feet. plus slip free.
