    Default Is it recomended

    is it recomended to use a guide when ice fishing the western basin, or can i just drive up walk out and fish. i have my own shelter sonar and rods. Am i able to walk from the main land to where i can catch some eyes.

    Check out this web site www.icefishohio.com and go to the "fishing partner" forum.
    Very good chance you could find an experienced fishing partner in your area to go with. Not a guide per say, just someone who's been out on the ice a few times.
