I agree with you skipper I hope next year is as good as this year. I am going to work on the boat this weekend in the barn. Maybe it will help the bug to get back out there a bit.

Nice find!!
I have saved his address for future purchase. I just put line on 2 new Tekota Reels seems like that is the only time that I need to by line is for new reels. I am still using line that is 5 years old on some of my reels and it still tests at the breaking strenght. I don't know if the older line is power-pro or tuff-line.Wakina

Hey guys not putting a fly in the ointment here but I would have to say there are "better" lines for different situations. Now the question was for Lake Erie Trolling. If you are pulling dipsies I would say yes then power pro 30 is the best. You can use the 10 pound dive curve and get about the same depths. Now my set up is 12 pound Trilene Big Game (Mono) for pulling Reefs or harnesses is Mono. Only because mono has stretch, which in my opinion results in more hook ups and success in landing the fish. Power Pro is the only way to go on the dipsies in order to have a successful trip each time. So what we do is 6 lines spooled with mono, 6 spooled with power pro and we can use what ever lines the situation called for. I know many guys we fish with to a similar set up. If you had to chose one or the other, I would say pick the line to fit the program you run the majority of the time.
