Well...how bad is it?
After the winds blew all weekend on Lake Erie...just wondering how bad the water is torn up. Is it muddied up pretty bad? Thinking of heading over maybe Friday or Saturday, probably launching out of Sterling State Park and looking for some guidance! Been seeing some good reports about Perch lately, but are there any walleye to be had? If not, will be perching! Got the itch to get out at least one more time this year!
Thanks for all your help!

Happy Hookers website posted this today
Weekend weather caused the lake to be unfishable both Sat and Sun. Lake now is all chocolate but wind has subsided some 2-4 footers today, and is suppose to lay down all week and be in the 80 degree temps by this weekend. All the things are forming up now that we should have the perfect perch fishing weekend this week. Lake should settle, weather good. we think shiner crisis is over.

Thanks for all the help guys! I sure appreciate all the info! I will be heading that direction on Saturday as long as the weather holds and am looking forward to putting some fish in the boat...what kind is yet to be determined! As always, this site is a blessing to those that dont live very close to the lake! We all appreciate it!

Perch and Jumping Asian Carp
Perchin on Lake Erie truly is a gift. Just ask the guys who fish the Wabash River in Indiana? Check out the video posted there on the main www.walleye.com web site showing guys in a john boat getting pummelled by jumping Asian carp.
