West End Perch Report 9-28

Fished the gravel pit, the turnarond buoy, and over by the shipping channel yesterday. Couldn't get them going anywhere. 4 of us ended up with 50 fish. Perch colored spreaders did the best but it was a pretty slow day overall. Fish size was average at best. Water was pretty stained except east of gravel pit it was pretty clear. At the cleaners it sounded like the charters did well out by the island. Should have went out there i guess. Good luck to everyone.

Fished Tues. just south-west of Middle Island 32' of water, 103 perch w/4 person, could't get the last 17. Big perch, 30 lbs. at the cleaners. Went back Weds. nothing. Went North of Kellys Is. 30' of water, got 57 with 3 persons. Smaller perch. Beat the rain both days.
