Shiners for the morning

Has any one heard if the shiner shortage is getting any better. Looking to try the perch in the morning any help would be great.

Minnow boats still unable to catch shiners, few boats are catching few shiners but no quanity. Most bait stores will have golden shiners but they are not real abundant. Weekend weather chances of showers but according to wtol.com weather sounds like it should be good fishing . Hopefully better weather will put the walleye bite back in town. Perch bite has been great NW of West Sister Island lots of jumbo's When water was less muddy good perch bite around Little pickerel and north of B-Can. Maybee within next few nights they will be able to catch shiners.

i dont know how far away you are. when the shop is out in point place we can always get them at fishermans cave on summit st. just over the michigan line.

went out of catabaw this morning fished half mile south from middle of island 30ft of water 3 hrs 90 perch 19lbs at cleaner, any color seemed to work

got minnows..goldens from happy hooker...they worked just fine...thanks to all the folks at the HAPPY HOOKER again ...if it was not for them the day would have not been so fun...8.5 miles out of T.C. 29 ft of water all good fish a few throw backs...

The shortage is about in its 17th day now. Richards bait shop in port Clinton has been selling a 50/50 mix of emerald/creek chub.. I had good luck with both of them this last weekend...
