Good one yesterday. Nice steady north wind with only 1-2' foot chop most of morning. Calmed down in afternoon but still gentle breeze out of north all day. Didn’t get lines in water till about 9:30 and took till 3:00, but two of us got our 60 perch limit.

Grade was a bit smaller than has been, but still had some nice 10-11 inchers. Ended up with 15 pounds at cleaners... so 4 to a pound, but they will still eat! Bite was steady off and on all day...not a frenzy but never any extended dead times either. They actually picked up after lunch for a good spurt when it was real calm. And the most interesting thing...we did not catch one sheephead, white bass, or white perch!

Only down side was again having to run a long way. Ended up probably 3-4 miles NW of North Sister to find the fish. Lake is still muddy clear out to West Sister.

Used frozen shiners and fresh goldies both. They were hitting either one just as well.

Glad I got out... weather again looks like crap for next 5 days. Broken record. Fall will soon be gone.
