bigger perch

Well after 3 days im convinced I am geting bigger perch on leaf worms... a few days ago I figured I would throw one on just to try it..things were slow so what the heck.. I was using a perch rig and a skipper 9 rig.. it was a mix what hook I caught thme on but the bigger ones were on leaf worms..have been doing the for three days now... had a minnow on top and bottom hook of skipper 9 rig.. leaf worm in the middle.. and the 10 plus fish were caught on the middle hook.. nice thing is you can catch several fish on one worm.. not baiting every time.. just food for thought.. good luck!

Leaf worms are bigger then the red worms. When you go to the bait store just ask for the leaf worms......Matt

Lol.. it said leaf worm on the blue tub it came in... I would say red worms are prob the same thing... shorter and much thinner than a night crawler.. I get them at the bait shop.. or some gas stations have them. They look like baby crawlers.. about 1/8 to 3/16th dia and about an inch and a half ... or 2 inches long
