Tough day for perch

Put in at Catawba State Park.Fished between Green and Rattlesnake.Pretty slow,only 4 keepers.Ran up to the border north of North Bass and found the perch.Action was steady.A few jumbos.Didn't make our 3 man limit but at least we caught fish.Good to be back on the lake.

We fished saturday just north of Green Island, we did ok, 6 of us kept 82 fish, there were quite a few small ones. We fished in the rain for a little while and there were a lot of boats out there. We caught most of them between 9-10 am, it slowed down after that. The water was green with a light film, but I was expecting it to be worse. I used capt Jim's perch rig and did well. Thanks again Jim!
