Weekend Walleye Report

Well We had a hard weekend on the two walk on trips we did.. We ran into lots of grass and weather... Our trip on saturday we managed to get all of our walleyes but it took all day to get them we were unable to go catch some perch which we had planned to do.. The group voted and we decided to keep catching eyes instead of going perch fishing. On our saturday trip we started out good but when the weather front came in it shut the fish down it was a very slow pick after that. We ended up with 24 at the end of the day. They were all nice fish but we worked really hard for them.. We caught our fish 13 miles north of vermillion. We were running 40 tru trips back 85 with worm harnesses..

Nice job.. there was LOTS of grass out near Middle where we tried drifting yesterday. It wasn't bad east of Kelley's where we perched Friday and Saturday.

BTW Skipper, I was going to give y ou a call to talk about those perch rigs you speak of, but I had terrible service unless I was "downtown" on Kelley's. Didn't have service at the campground. Maybe this week sometime
